Global Prayer Calls Continue to Unite Shepherd Leaders Across Continents
Since April 2023, Presence Point’s® quarterly Global Prayer Calls have connected shepherd leaders worldwide for prayer, encouragement, and fellowship. What began with four countries has grown into a global gathering spanning four continents and over 11 nations, simultaneously spanning 16 time zones and reflecting the expanding reach of the shepherd leadership message through Presence Point’s network of Multiplying Partners.
Over the past three years, leaders from countries including Australia, Bangladesh, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Guinea-Bissau, India, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, and the United States have joined together to pray, share updates, and encourage one another. Even amid technical challenges or regional instability, leaders have remained connected in prayer and support.
These quarterly gatherings unite believers across cultures in a shared commitment to shepherd well and advance God’s Kingdom, while also lifting up the needs of our Multiplying Partners around the world.
On June 12, Presence Point hosted its most recent Global Prayer Call, bringing together 26 shepherd leaders from 11 countries across four continents. Participants gathered from nations including Australia, South Sudan, Tanzania, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Malawi, Bangladesh, and the United States. The call also marked the first attempt at live French translation, supported by collaboration between leaders in Burundi, Kenya, and the United States, as participants prayed through requests submitted by Multiplying Partners and giving partners worldwide.
As global challenges continue to impact communities around the world, the Global Prayer Calls remain a steady expression of unity, encouragement, and dependence on God. Through these quarterly gatherings, participants are strengthened in their shared calling to lead faithfully and care well for those entrusted to them.
