Is there someone who irritates you?

A woman scowls in irritation.

Are there people in your life who really irritate you? It could be someone who reports to you, a peer, or even a family member. Yet, God expects us to be fair to everyone. And, like Him — slow to anger and full of abundant love.

That probably sounds like a tall order. It can be hard to admit how we genuinely feel about someone, especially if they rub us the wrong way. But God will be there for us when we are ready to work through those feelings, walking with us each step of the way. Fortunately, He loves us all, no matter what.

This is the fourth installment of our six part series on Jonah.

Digging Deeper Questions:

  1. When have you run from the Lord?
  2. Do the sheep in your life experience you being slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, like the Good, Great, and Chief Shepherd?
  3. Holly lists many different ways an under-shepherd can treat the sheep unfairly. Do you sometimes tend to do this with those who irritate you?

This is Part 4 of a 6-part series. You can listen to the series:
