There’s a pivotal element of shepherding that seems to be the most lacking in today’s world. It’s that of Presence. In the Presence Point shepherd leadership model, the Leader’s Shield, we’ve defined Presence as, “at hand; physically and/or emotionally available and engaged”.

Excellent!! While Provision and Protection are vital in a Shepherd Leader, Presence is absolutely necessary and one of the most important aspect of good Shepherd Leadership. In my opinion, the Presence component is what reinforces and reassures the sheep that proper and adequate Provision and Protection will be provided. Blessings!!!
