Doug and I recently woke to the ding of a text and wondered if it was going to be one of those mornings. It turned out to be wonderful news from a dear friend of ours. He’d received a report that he was still cancer-free more than a year after treatment for throat cancer. And it was just one of those moments where we felt so deeply grateful that we burst into a song of prayer together!
