When you’ve served on a Board together, trained in an individual’s ministry environment, and spent time with the people on a leader’s team, you may know more about them than you ever desired! But…. in the case of Bobby Arkills, Executive Director of Tacoma Area Youth for Christ, the 10+ years I’ve done exactly that has only solidified the need to share his thoughts on shepherd leadership with others. May you appreciate his words and the sentiments they represent.
Presence Point equips leaders to intentionally live into their calling as shepherds in the lives of those they lead, and partners with multipliers to do the same within their sphere of influence.
What does it really mean to lead the way a shepherd leads? This complimentary devotional from Holly Culhane unpacks the biblical model of provision, protection, and presence — The Leader’s Shield — and what it looks like when it’s lived out in all your relationships.
