What a privilege it was to interview Pastor Olen Griffing, Pastor-in-Residence at Gateway Church in Dallas, Texas. Our connection to Pastor Olen is a special one, as his granddaughter is the Content Manager for Presence Point. The initial purpose for connecting with Pastor Olen was to learn more about his three-day experience at Asbury College during the 2023 outpouring of the Holy Spirit. He watched the leadership of the college shepherd the students and the attendees during the time he was there and steward well. As a pastor for nearly 55 years, however, Pastor Olen shared an even deeper and more meaningful message to shepherd leaders everywhere.
