As you can imagine, friends often share blogs and articles about shepherding and the Good Shepherd with me. This blog I’m passing on to you today is from Liberty Quartet and was forwarded to me recently by a friend. When I saw the piece of art that it is referencing and read the words associated with it, I just had to share it.

The drawing at the beginning of the article so beautifully shows our dear Good, Great, and Chief Shepherd intently embracing a sheep. It’s not just a polite hug, but one with deep meaning. Jesus is nestling this dear one so closely that picturing myself in the sheep’s place was enormously reassuring to me today. I pray it will be for you, as well…
