“Oh, that we might know theLord! Let us press on to know him.
He will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn or the coming of rains in early spring.” Hosea 6:3
It’s early spring! Don’t you love it? The seasons are changing, the sun is shining with a bit of a warmer glow, and in many parts of the country the spring rains are indeed falling.
Following a beautiful call to repentance, restoration, and healing, Hosea reminds us that just as we are assured the spring rains will come and the morning will appear, we can know the Lord! How sweet the reminder that our Good, Great and Chief Shepherd is always ready and willing to respond to His sheep!
Oh, that we might press on to know our Good Shepherd!
